By using Platen PDF, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any other policies referenced on the site. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Platen PDF provides online tools for working with documents and files.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for your account, credentials, and activity under your account.
3. User Content
You retain ownership of your content. You grant us a limited license to process, host, cache, transmit, and otherwise use your content only as necessary to provide and improve the Service.
4. File Processing and Retention
Uploaded files and generated files are automatically and permanently deleted within 30 minutes of processing unless a shorter period applies.
This retention window exists only to complete the requested processing task and support temporary delivery of results.
5. Acceptable Use
- No illegal activity
- No malware or harmful code
- No unauthorized access
- No abuse of the Service
- No infringement of rights
6. Subscriptions and Billing
Some features may require a paid subscription. Payments are processed through Paddle.
7. Cancellations and Refunds
Refund terms are described in our Refund Policy.
8. AI Features
AI-assisted results may be imperfect. You are responsible for reviewing output before relying on it.
9. Service Availability
We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service.
10. Intellectual Property
All rights in the Service, including software, design, logos, and branding, belong to Platen or its licensors.
11. Third-Party Services
The Service may depend on third-party providers such as Cloudflare, Google, GitHub, Resend, Paddle, Vercel, and Railway.
12. Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Platen will not be liable for indirect or consequential damages.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Platen from claims arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
15. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if we believe you violated these Terms or used the Service abusively or unlawfully.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
